Leaves: Our leaves turn green in the spring. The red bud trees turn a beautiful red in the Fall. Most of our leaves turn brown in the fall and winter. This part of Texas does not have the beautiful colored leaves like the northern states.

Nights are much cooler
There is a high degree of variation with some days being much cooler and the next week can be much warmer.
Fall activities: for us are fall festival and trick or treating for halloween. We have enjoyed watching the leaves change colors. We went on a field trip to Anna Ruby Falls.
Leaves: Our leaf colors are orange, red, yellow, green, and brown. Yes, we are in school. We love fall and have learned that leaves change colors because they lose their chlorophyll.
